Traditional Building Projects

As a local company we specialise in traditional building works on period and listed buildings and over the years have carried out contracts to all types and sizes of period property. These range from local 15^th century churches, museums, town halls, Georgian and Victorian homes, to name just a few.

We take great pride and care in sourcing reclaimed building materials to help to blend the new work in with the original structure. Our tradesman are skilled in ensuring that each aspect of works are carried out to the highest standard.

Our own joinery shop produces bespoke doors, windows, staircases and period mouldings to replicate the original design of all period properties. All these can be installed by our joiners who actually made them, which is of course the way it has been done for hundreds of years.

We cater for all types of traditional building works such as lime plastering, traditional carpentry, roofing works, masonry and brickwork.

Our decorators are very familiar with using traditional lime washes, putties and blending colours with originals as well as paper hanging to walls and ceilings.

Due to our experience and knowledge we work closely with the local authorities, architect and conservation officers to ensure works are carried out as specified. We can prepare plans and prepare and submit listed building approval forms on behalf of clients if required.
